Urgent were an American rock band from New York City that formed in the early 80's
Urgent rose from the east coast in the mid-80's, and with the help of legendary producers Ian Hunter (singer) and Mick Ronson, they released their debut album "Cast the First Stone" in 1985. It became a minor success with the single "Running Back" peaking at #79 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Their single "Love Can Make You Cry" from "Cast the First Stone" was also featured on the successful "Iron Eagle" Soundtrack album
Their 1987 follow-up album "Thinking Out Loud" was not a success, and the band called it quits
